Svalbard- A Winter Adventure

Experience with us the wonders of the Arctic: Snowy solitude, huge glacial fronts, mystical ice caves, Russian mining settlements – and, with a bit of luck, even polar bears, the king of the Arctic. Around the Isfjord we are with you by dog sled, snowmobile, as well as on snowshoes on the way.

On arrival at the airport you will be greeted by your German speaking guide and accompanied to your accommodation in Longyearbyen (private transfer from the airport to your accommodation). Already on the first day you will get to know the diversity of the most northern city in the world on a detailed city tour. Feel the special atmosphere of the place, discover the treasures of the museum and the art gallery and take a deep breath of the clear Arctic air. In the evening we meet and discuss the plan for the next days. Overnight stay at the guest house in Longyearbyen.
After the rich breakfast we start our first tour. With light luggage for an overnight stay we set off with the snowmobile into the white wilderness. A lot of time for intensive impressions in the nature. Dinner in the local restaurant and overnight stay in the guest house in the Russian settlement. The next morning we visit the historic mining town and return to Longyearbyen. Overnight stay at the guest house in Longyearbyen.
Today we go with our own dog team to an ice grotto! Deep in the heart of a glacier we discover a glittering wonder world of ice and snow - and an unexpected play of colours. The dogs can relax in between and after lunch we drive on. We glide almost silently through the Arctic; only the grinding of the runners in the snow or the occasional barking of the dogs can be heard. In the late afternoon we will return to Longyearbyen. Overnight stay in the guest house.
Optional offer to book in:Snowmobile tour to the east or west coast. Depending on the weather, we set off to explore the east or west coast of Spitsbergen. This full day tour takes us far away from civilization, through beautiful valleys, along picturesque fjords and bizarre glacial landscapes. Spitsbergen shows its wild side and its rough charm. Costs: 4.500 NOK per person. (co-driver NOK 2,000) The tour will be conducted from 3 participants (driver)
After an extensive breakfast we drive off with the car and make ourselves on the way to a beautiful place for today's snowshoe tour. The guide decides daily, depending on snow and weather conditions, which route will be the best. We enjoy great views and our last lunch in nature. Afterwards drive back to Longyearbyen. Overnight stay in the guesthouse.
Day of farewell. After breakfast there is some free time left. Private airport transfer and scheduled flight back home.
