Boat Tour to Barentsburg

A dreamlike boat trip in the heart of Spitsbergen. Nature combined with history and culture.

Tour plan

The boat trip takes us across the Isfjord to the southwestern Ymer Bay in Oscar II Land, where lunch and the most beautiful view of the calving Esmark Glacier await us. In the early afternoon, we continue our journey into the Grønfjord and land at the Russian settlement Barentsburg. We are then welcomed by a Russian guide who tells us about the daily life, history and culture of the mining settlement. It is also possible to explore the settlement on your own.
If you are interested, you can try a glass of Russian vodka at the hotel or one of the northernmost beers in the world.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
